Location: | Taichung, Taiwan |
Date of Completion: | 2020.06 |
Scope of Work: | Included civil design and construction; a three-story reinforced concrete building used as the electrical room; constructed a cross-road pipe bridge to connect the west side of the second electrical room; indoor weak current; air-conditioning equipment; water supply and fire-fighting water pipelines. |
Features: | Demolished the existing plant and constructed a new electrical room. The existing facilities nearby were still operating and could interfere with ongoing construction. Name: | Civil Engineering Project of the FEPV Line and Product Storage Yard |
Location: | Binh Duong, Vietnam |
Date of Completion: | 2019.10 |
Scope of Work: | Civil engineering and construction |
Features: | Because this was a project for production plant, the equipment installation must coordinate with the civil construction process. And the project schedule must match the projected market demand. Due to the late delivery of owner's equipment, design and construction work was carried out almost simultaneously. Though Vietnam had adequate manpower, inefficiency made the project more challenging. |

Name: | Chemical Fiber Plant-Civil Engineering, Pipeline Design, Foundation Piles, Roads, floors, Rain Drainage, 100t Weight Station, etc. |
Location: | Binh Duong, Vietnam |
Date of Completion: | 2017.06 |
Scope of Work: | This project was for the civil design and foundation pile construction, including the construction of drill-driving foundation piles for the entire plant, the outdoor materials storage area and the RC floor of the container yard, the roads of the chemical fiber plant and the rain drainage system (including the site preparation for the road between the chemical fiber plant and the spinning mill, the underground wastewater discharge water system of the chemical fiber plant, the civil structure and facility for the weight station (100tons). |
Features: | The project in Binh Duong, Vietnam, involved local and international contractors working together. The culture difference and technology gap among subcontractors at many levels impacted the performance of this project and posed the real challenge to the management team. Also installation of a pile was demanding due to the reason that SPT-N Value of the soil in Binh Duong was above 40. Capacity of a basic equipment was insufficient. Moreover, the rainy season and wet weather in Vietnam made it harder to control project quality and progress. |
